Italian boxing champion Irma Testa suffered a stunning elimination in the first round of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Competing in the 57 kg category, Testa, who had been the reigning world champion in her weight class, lost her bout in the Round of 16.
"The third round was difficult, but I gave it my all," Testa said after the match. "It's a tough way to go out."
