How to Remove the Radio from a Nissan Pathfinder
Step 1: Gather Your Tools
You will need the following tools to remove the radio from a Nissan Pathfinder: * A Phillips head screwdriver * A flat head screwdriver * A pair of needle nose pliers
Step 2: Remove the Trim Panel
The first step is to remove the trim panel that surrounds the radio. To do this, insert the flat head screwdriver into the gap between the trim panel and the dashboard. Gently pry the trim panel loose and remove it.
Step 3: Remove the Radio
Once the trim panel is removed, you will see four screws that hold the radio in place. Remove these screws using the Phillips head screwdriver. Once the screws are removed, you can pull the radio out of the dash.
Step 4: Unplug the Radio
The radio is connected to the dash by a wiring harness. Unplug the wiring harness from the back of the radio.
Step 5: Remove the Radio
Once the wiring harness is unplugged, you can remove the radio from the dash.
Step 6: Install the New Radio
To install the new radio, simply reverse the steps above. Insert the new radio into the dash and connect the wiring harness. Then, screw the radio into place and replace the trim panel.
